Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation is a community-based non-profit corporation founded in 1990 to improve the quality and availability of affordable housing in the State of Hawaii. With participation from eight major financial institutions in the State, HCRC provides financing opportunities to developers, investors, and owners of  multifamily projects that serve low– and moderate-income households.

 

HCRC is dedicated to the creation and preservation of affordable housing, as well as the facilitation of community and economic development.  HCRC is a designated Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity (CDE).

-Consulting services on state and federal funding applications such as the Low Income Housing Tax Credit application, and CDBG/HOME application
